I was far too absorbed in the story to even notice John much. I don't want to give anything away, as I would recommend this as a must see, but he plays a very difficult character in a very edgy situation. I had watched the other episodes in this series and not enjoyed them much so I was surprised with this exceptional piece of writing. And I'm still working out my feelings toward John's character... Tricky.
